About

Furstenberg Consulting is the independent practice of Stefan Furstenberg, a DevOps and cloud engineer based in the canton of Zürich.

My background runs from Unix and Linux systems engineering in large enterprise data centres, through supporting enterprise customers on AWS, to leading DevOps teams that build and run Kubernetes platforms. A lot of that work has been in regulated and high-volume environments, including financial services, where security, automation and reliability can't be afterthoughts.

I prefer open-source tooling, infrastructure defined as code, and solutions a team can understand and own after I've left.
